Rekesh Bainsla
Rakesh Bainsla, is Richmond resident since 2011 has been an active volunteer and key contributor in Indian community activities. Rakesh was the president of India Association of Virginia (IAVA) in the year 2016 & 2017 and is currently serving as Board of Director since 2017. Rakesh is married to Deep Bainsla for 22 years and resides in Twin Hickory, VA with their daughter Khushi (20) and son Rahul (17). Rakesh is an avid sports aficionado and a runner. As a family they enjoy traveling, adventure sports, and listening to music. He is also serving as Board of Director for Twin Hickory HOA and works as Technology Director for Capital One.
Rajbans Joshi
Rajbans Joshi and his wife Kim have been in Richmond since 2010 and are proud to be a part of the Indian and Asian community in Richmond. Rajbans is a Product Owner at AMC Technology and Kim is a Scrum Master at Anthem. They have been married since 2012 and both of them are avid travelers, hardcore foodies and always ready to experiment something new and adventurous. Rajbans joined AASoCV in the year 2020 as a Board of Trustee member representing the Indian community. He loves interacting with people and getting engaged in various volunteering activities and he hopes that he gets to do both in the year ahead.
Rupali Pendse
As a first-generation immigrant from India, I came to the US in 1995 and my family has lived in VA since 2008. I am a licensed realtor and US Notary Public. My passion for community activism and advocacy has included serving on my children’s school’s PTO boards. I enjoy all forms of arts and love to make new friends.
