Khin Thein

Born and raised in Burma (Myanmar), I immigrated to the US in 2002. I moved to Virginia to practice medicine in 2009 and currently work as a primary care physician at Prime Care Family Practice in Prince George, VA. I am married to Dr. Kyaw Thuya Zaw, who works at St. Mary’s Hospital. We have two boys (Seth and Shane).

I am active in Burmese community and Buddhist Monastery. My hobbies include singing, playing tennis, and swimming.

Tin Myint

Residing in Richmond area since immigrating to US from Myanmar in 1995, I graduated from VCU and currently working at Dominion Energy as an Engineer.
I have been on AASoCV Board of Trustees since 2018. I volunteer at many local events and also currently serve as board member for VCU College of Engineering and founding member of Asian Pacific Islanders Employee
Resource Group at Dominion Energy.

Mya Hlaing McClure

I was born in Burma (Myanmar). In 2005, I came to the United States to study Computer Engineering at VCU. Currently, I am living in Richmond with my lovely family and working as a Database Administrator Team Lead at Estes Express Lines.
